We spent a couple days with Anthony’s grandparents in Springfield. They always do such a great job of filling up our stomachs and loving on the kids. After the day we spent with them in June, they were more prepared for us. Armed with a baby gate and having cleared the area of valuable breakables, they were ready for the kids to invade. I feel incredibly blessed to have in-laws that treat me as just another member of the family and who are so kind and generous towards me.
We also got to visit with Anthony’s 95 year old Great-grandmother. She was feisty as ever and so sweet.
Now we are headed for our last (hopefully) real stop: Anthony’s parents’ house in Kansas.
